Junior Regional Accountant / Účetní

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT IN THIS REGIONAL ACCOUNTANT ROLE? 

As a part of a dynamic and passionate Regional Finance and Operations team you will process Corporate Accounting Package and Time and Attendance agenda of our foreign offices in Radio's broadcast region.  

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:  

• bank & cash payments and reconciliations in various currencies 
• payroll reviews, procurement reviews 
• physical voucher control 
• entering or validating data entered to the accounting system (PeopleSoft) 
• creating or reviews clear supporting documentation for accounting and payroll transactions 

• monitoring and maintaining pre-paid expenses; write offs and accruals 
• administering and maintaining Time and Attendance and vacation limits in line with local labor laws

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

• Someone with a great attitude, accuracy, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills 
• Someone who can meet customer needs in a helpful way, whether they are internal or external clients 

• Fluent English and Czech 
• Up to two years of experience in accounting, preferably in an international environment 
• Experience handling confidential data with a high degree of discretion 
• End-user knowledge of MS Office applications and relevant software 

This is a locally recruited full-time position on a one-year assignment initially, with the possibility of extension for an open-ended contract after one year.  The opportunity is only open to applicants with the legal right to work in the Czech Republic.
