Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty is looking for a Digital Strategy Manager, Audio Products to join our Digital Strategy Department.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As a Digital Strategy Manager, Audio Products, you will develop, execute and assess the unique digital strategies of the audio products of RFE/RL news services in alignment with the organization’s strategy, mission and standards. This position reports to the Head of Digital Strategy.
Among other responsibilities you will:
- Apply and advise on the use of tools and tactics to increase the number of listeners, their level of engagement, and their propensity to return to RFE/RL as their preferred source of reliable news
- Manage relevant digital audio accounts and platform presence across the organization
- In collaboration with other departments: propose, prototype, launch, adapt and assess the services’ audio products across platforms, including social media
- Lead and guide cross-functional project teams to align editorial, technical, analytical, and marketing operations for digital audio products.
- Review and give feedback on services’ audio products and processes
- Help colleagues adapt to changes in their media environments
ARE YOU THE RIGHT CANDIDATE?
The successful candidate will have:
- At least 5 years of experience in digital journalism, esp. audio products
- At least 3 years in product management experience, incl. roadmaps and acting in consensus-facilitating roles
- Proficiency in English, other relevant languages, esp. Russian, preferred
- Strong history of mentoring and training of journalists
- University education in journalism or related fields or the equivalent in experience
- Familiarity with best practices, rules, and industry regulations and standards around podcast and/or radio production
- History of successful handling of progressively challenging assignments
- Familiarity with RFE/RL mission and journalistic standards
